Research Scientist
Responsibilities:
The position of Research Scientist, Assay Development entails working independently or in collaboration with other team members, under the direction of the department head to:
- Develop and implement cell-based in vitro
- Develop screening assays for identifying binding and functional antibodies.
- Identify new technologies to meet project requirements.
- Interact with other team members to provide scientific and technical leadership in assay development and screening.
- Participate in the development of scientific plans and support the team in the execution of those plans.
- Reporting with written reports and oral presentations.
- Participate in team meetings to assist in the coordination of department activities, under the direction of the department head.
- Provide scientific and technical input in discussions and presentations, and for the elaboration of plans as required by the company.
- Execute projects according to the agreed milestones and timelines.
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. with 3-5 years experience in industry or a Ph.D. in immunology, immune-oncology, molecular biology with strong publication record.
- Ability to accurately follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and instructions.
- Dynamic, motivated, and have a positive outlook.
- Good organizational skills.
- Learn quickly and can perform repetitive tasks.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
